Time Trials - July 14-15 with NASA NE

On Sunday, after 1st session, changed rear pads to Raybestos 45. Changed one side of front brakes because it was on metal. Had spare used DTC 70's so only had to change one side because the other side was the same compound and still had meat. Hard rain made 2nd session worthless. Ran my best in 3rd session. Skipped out on the 4th session.

This was my first weekend on the long course so I have a lot to learn.
I only had 2 sessions going counter clockwise on Sunday because 1 session was in a downpour so I didn’t do it more than 2-3 laps.
So there is more for me for sure. My data OBDII plug got knocked out on the bumps so no tach/throttle position sensor. And my memory card was full so my last 2 laps didn’t record and that was my fastest lap! 1:31.8 (NASA results on mylaps soon) was my best but the video below is close enough at 1:32.0.
To put that into perspective, Ben won the class at 1:30.7 I think. So I was 1.1 behind him. Not bad for my first outing there. He had pretty fresh A6’s and I was on last years R6’s.
The car in front of me was a race Evo X (he is in TTS class) on fresh goodyears. This session his best was 1:32.1 but in an earlier session he was 1:30.9.

Sunday - Pocono Long Course, Counter Clockwise

Saturday - Pocono Long Course, Clockwise

That was my first day on the banks so I was over-braking in the nascar turns and consequently way behind Ben. But I pushed it harder on Sunday as mentioned above.
I think I hit 157 mph on Saturday going CW. A little less on Sunday going CCW.
