7/29/2011 Update: Send out the EBCM for repair but then got a Check Engine Light. I pulled the codes and it is from P0300 misfire detection code. But there were a ton of codes and I'm sure some are from the missing EBCM but some of the codes are weird:
PCM:
P0300 H - misfire code so this has me worried.
P1571 H C - still appears after a reset (clearing code while car is still running) - ASR Desired Torque. Probably due to EBCM being out of the car.
P1689 H C - still appears after a reset (clearing code while car is still running) - Delivered Torque Circuit. Probably due to EBCM being out of the car.

SDM:
U1016 H - still appears after a reset (clearing code while car is still running).  Related to battery change in remote key fob.
This is a normal software function as long as the DTCs have a history status upon ignition cycling. No repair attempts should be made.


HVAC:
