1998 corvette.   Silver with black interior.  6spd.

 

164,000 miles.   Bought the car in 2004 with 41,000 miles. 

Motor is all stock

It has a rebuilt trans from RPM with about 80k miles on it and still shifts like new; LS6 clutch put in at the same time.

It has stock springs, 2004 z06 swaybars and shocks, braided stainless steel brake lines.

Just spent $1200 to replace a/c compressor, crank pulley and e-brake cables.

Motor has slight tap/knock...has been like this for at least two years.  I drive this car 100 miles a day on my commute.  Would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.   Car recently started pinging under hard acceleration in warm weather, not sure why, i've always run super unleaded.   Mobil 1 always used.

Last year the front left corner was scraped by another car in a parking lot.  I've been told it's an easy fix, but I know nothing about body work so i have no idea.  The front bumper has the usual road rash from 164k miles.

I'm ready for something new.  I wish i could keep it, but with NJ insurance rates it would be tight.
