Installed a stock 1995 fuel tank (traded su_maverick my Hinson reduced capacity tank for it). Full size tank:

Reduced capacity HINSON tank:

See the white bucket in the tank:

Fuel jumps out of it on long, high G turns and you get fuel starvation; aka fuel slosh.

The above pics are from a 1993 tank.
Mazda redesigned it in 94 and added "slots" on the edge to hold a cover.
In 94 they didn't use a cover even though the slots were added to the bucket.
In 95, they supposedly used the semi-cover (below). I say "supposedly" because my 95 tank doesn't have it.

But it doesn't completely solve the fuel slosh issue because its not a complete cover.

And you can't buy that cover separately. So Hyperion designed a real cover for the bucket:

First I dropped the old tank:

Screwed in an Autometer fuel pressure sending unit into the adjustable fuel pressure regulator:

Put Hyperions cover into the tank (the zip ties are only there for 1993 tanks, mine didn't use them):

Drop the pump assembly through/into cover and re-assemble tank:

Now I should be able to race and not get fuel starvation even below 1/2 tank.
